Hello! Hello!

Hello! Hello!

Good day everyone! I don't know about you, but I had a pretty productive weekend!! I had a great shift on Friday night at the Scrapbook Studio. I put out some new product from companies such as Echo Park, Little Yellow Bicycle and Imaginesce so head on into the store to check it out. You will also get to see a sample of the new products on the store blog soon.
Also, Thanks Kim, Ineke and Sue for the laughs!!! It is so awesome having a job where your customers are so fantastic!!!
After working late into the night, I was up very early the next day to head out to a crop in Langham. They have a crop every year to raise money for their library! I went as a representative for the store and had a fantastic time!! Not only did I take a whole lot of product ( maybe half the store?? LOL) but I also got to teach a make 'n take to a fabulous bunch of gals!! Time seemed to go by so fast that I didn't even get a chance to think about how little sleep I was running on!! :D Thanks so much Lana and all the wonderful girls at the crop for making the store and myself so welcome!!
On Sunday I got to relax a little!! So my daughter and I decided to head on over to the store and do a little scrapbooking!  It is so nice to be able to share a common hobby and spend some quality time together!! Below are some pics of a project I started on Sunday and finished this morning! I hope you get inspired to create something for yourself!!
I created this mini album using the "Year.o.graphy" line from Simple Stories. Their papers are perfect for creating mini albums because of they way they design them. A lot of their 12x12 papers are divided into sections that are easy to cut and make into smaller pages, elements and journaling cards.
I cut the papers up, adhered them to chipboard and made several pages in various sizes to give my mini album more character!!
I also cut out several small elements from the papers and pop dotted them on as embellishments, such as the little red heart on the left page and the sun on the right page.
Another technique I like to do in my mini albums is have elements on the page hanging over the sides, like I did with the picture on the right side.

If you are near the store, head on in and check out this mini album. I will have it there for you too get a close up!

Thanks so much!!
