I've
finally done it!! I have created a blog! It might not be to fancy yet,
but I am learning!!! For those who don't know me yet, I am a little
challenged when it comes to computers!! I married a
computer geek so I wouldn't have to do it!! But look at me now!! And I
am actually very excited to be here broadening my computer skills!!
As I continue with my learning, I have uploaded this photo of a card I had designed before Christmas for a friends fundraiser. I know it's past the holiday season, but this was such a fun way to use a paperbag that I had to share it! I love making these cards! By folding a paper bag in half and creating a pocket, you get a perfect place for a pull-out card with a sentiment stamped on it or to special place for a gift card. Create fun edges using border punches and spruce it up with some ribbon and bling!
I love buying up all those little journaling cards and title pieces that some companies put out with their paper lines. They make perfect little templates for tracing and creating your own pieces in that perfect color for your project!
I am going to leave you with that for now, but I will be back soon!!
Thanks for visiting!!
The blog looks great Cayla!

ReplyDeleteLove the blog Cayla! Also love the "Purple" Layout... my favorite... oh, and my favorite color too.
ReplyDeleteLove what you've done with the Fimo... about 20 years ago... or it feels like that... I took the first ever Fimo design class offered in Saskatoon... made brooches with real little handmade rosebuds on them... times has changed.... loved what you made with the Wilton's silcone forms.
